Artistic Director and Oklahoma native Tyler Woods has over a decade of experience with the
work of William Shakespeare and this marks his 22nd production of the bard’s work. He has
served as Actor, Director, Fight Choreographer/Captain and Education Director with such
companies as Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, The Pearl Theatre, Shenandoah
Shakespeare and Virginia Stage Company. He founded the charity arts event, 'Artists'
Weekend' in Oklahoma City, promoting local artists of various art forms and raising money
for both the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and local arts organizations. Some
of this money has been used to set up a scholarship to foster young directors in his home
state who wish to share their vision; but lack the funding to do so. He has encouraged
hundreds of artists with the belief that every one of us should be given voice and heard, for
the good of humanity. He formed his company six years ago in Oklahoma with a belief in
the passion of his craft and is now pleased to bring his work to the New York stage.
